Last week’s add-on updates focused on safer cache management, clearer Google Search Console workflows, and better control over custom code. The result is more reliable maintenance with fewer surprises across your connected sites.
Cache Control Integration 5.3 improves bulk cache purging with stronger authorization, site validation, separate per-site results, and retry options when outcomes are mixed or unsuccessful. Cloudflare credential handling is also safer during encrypted-storage migrations and failed save or delete attempts. A new MainWP Abilities API capability can report each child site’s detected cache solution, latest purge, and auto-purge configuration.
Google Search Console 6.3 prevents scheduled refreshes from overlapping and reports their outcomes more accurately. Site selection and dashboard data now follow each user’s permitted site access, while refreshed connections keep property assignments in sync. New MainWP AI Assistant actions provide tools for reviewing connections and properties, managing mappings and refresh settings, and requesting data refreshes.
Custom Dashboard 5.2 adds MainWP abilities for checking snippet status, validating PHP, and previewing or applying PHP, CSS, and JavaScript changes. Concurrent editing is easier to manage, with a warning when another user changes a snippet and your draft preserved until you reload. PHP validation also rejects malformed snippets without running them.
