Last week’s MainWP updates focused on more dependable reporting, cleaner monitoring settings, and better handling of authentication and background processes across several integrations.

MainWP Dashboard and Child received smaller workflow improvements, while Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Pro Reports, WooCommerce Status, Wordfence, and BackWPup all picked up changes aimed at making routine site management and reporting more predictable.

MainWP Core

MainWP Dashboard 6.1.7

MainWP Dashboard 6.1.7 continues the work on the recently redesigned Connection Status widget with a cleaner, more focused site table. Uptime Monitoring settings have also been tidied up so HTTP response options are shown only where they apply: in the global settings rather than individual monitor configurations.

MainWP Child 6.1.7

MainWP Child 6.1.7 improves backup report tracking across BackupBuddy, BackWPup, Time Capsule, and UpdraftPlus. It also adds the data needed for WooCommerce Status to report sales from the previous seven days, giving agencies another useful snapshot of recent store activity from the Dashboard.

Reporting and authentication reliability received much of the attention this week.

Google Analytics Integration 6.1

Google Analytics Integration 6.1 improves OAuth token handling so temporary authentication problems can be distinguished from credentials that actually require attention. Scheduled refreshes now avoid duplicate processing, while tokens are refreshed before Pro Reports continue sending to help reduce interruptions in report delivery.

Account and property lookup errors are also handled more clearly, and database schema validation has been added to help keep the integration properly configured.

Google Search Console Integration 6.2

Google Search Console Integration 6.2 brings similar improvements to authentication management. Tokens can now refresh automatically with retry scheduling and safeguards against overlapping refresh attempts, while expired or rejected credentials are handled more accurately to reduce unnecessary reauthorization prompts.

Authentication and data refresh jobs are now handled separately, and additional checks prevent credentials from being stored when the required encryption setup is unavailable. Pro Reports integration has also been improved so requested reporting periods are used more consistently, with cached metrics available as a fallback when fresh data for that range cannot be retrieved.

Pro Reports 5.1.7

Pro Reports 5.1.7 strengthens report processing behind the scenes. Report settings are saved using a single database operation, while delivery locks are released more reliably when retry-state updates fail. These are small changes on the surface, but they help make scheduled client reporting more dependable.

WooCommerce Status 5.1

WooCommerce Status 5.1 adds a new Sales Last 7 Days column with numeric sorting, making it easier to compare recent store performance across WooCommerce sites. Existing sales labels have also been clarified as Sales This Month and Top Seller This Month, making the reporting periods easier to distinguish at a glance.

Wordfence 5.2.1

Wordfence 5.2.1 improves how unavailable or missing data is handled. Site settings now fall back to safe default values when necessary, and missing website or database results no longer cause avoidable errors.

Documentation Updates

Abandoned Plugins and Themes now clarifies WordPress.org eligibility, which sites are checked, and why sites must be synchronized after changing the tolerance period.

WP Cron guidance now clarifies when to enable DISABLE_WP_CRON for homepage requests, direct cron requests, and WP-CLI schedulers—helping prevent stalled scheduled tasks.

Direct Cron Workers now confirms automatic Domain Monitor and SSL Monitor enrollment for newly connected eligible sites, eliminating initial manual checks.

MainWP WP-CLI Commands now covers enabling or disabling MainWP Child password authentication for individual users, including Unique Security ID safeguards.

WooCommerce Status now clearly defines weekly and monthly sales metrics, monthly top sellers, numeric sales sorting, and the required MainWP Child version.
