It's All About v6 and Add-ons This Week

It is something that no other WordPress Dashboard Management platform offers, and it is why we are able to constantly push the envelope when it comes to functionality. This week, we have a new add on created by a MainWP Community member as well as updates to two of our add ons.

New MainWP Add-on: Built by a MainWP Community Member!
If you are a FluentSupport customer, have we got a treat for you. MainWP Community Member Philip Levine, founder of South Florida Web Advisor, has built a MainWP add on that integrates ticket data from a FluentSupport installation on a dedicated Support Site directly into your MainWP Dashboard. Best of all, it is absolutely free on the WordPress Repository.
From the WordPress Repo: “It provides centralized visibility over your support workflow by displaying active tickets in a dashboard widget and on a dedicated extension page. It uses the FluentSupport Rest API and Application Passwords for secure, direct synchronization on a 5 minute background schedule, preventing site synchronization slowdowns.”
Marc spoke personally to Philip soon after he had submitted the plugin to the WordPress Plugin Review Team. Philip stated that he is doing this not only to make his own life easier, but because the WordPress Community has given so much to him that this is one way he feels he can give back. That philosophy is just one of the many reasons for the growth and adoption of open source technologies like WordPress and MainWP.
If you would like to learn more and download the add on, head over to the WordPress Repo and check it out.

You can build integrations into MainWP. Our Dev docs give you all you need in order to hook right into the dashboard. Plus, we are here to hold your hand along the way. Have questions before getting started? Why not set up a one on one with Marc and he will go over the basics.
MainWP Add-On Updates
This week, we have updates to two of our MainWP add ons: Regression Testing gets updated to v5.1.2, and the Comments Extension v5.1.1 was released.
In the Regression Testing Extension, we have fixed potential undefined variable issues, updated a few things, and added tracking and visibility for scheduled maintenance. You can read the full changelog here to get all the details.
The Comments extension has been updated to v5.1.1 and includes an update to bulk action processing as well as the default sorting in the Comments Table. Get all the information in the changelog found here.
What’s New in the Community
Show Your MainWP Pride on Discord
MainWP now has an official Server Tag, and you can display it right on your profile. Simply click on the MainWP Server Name in Discord, select Server Tag, and adopt the MWP Tag.
Adding the tag lets the world know you are part of the MainWP Community. It is a small badge with a big meaning and it helps other MainWP pros find you faster.
Haven’t joined the MainWP Discord Server yet? Why not do it now? It is a great way to stay in touch real time with the Team and the Community.
We love staying in touch with our customers, and Marc would still love to have a one on one chat with you. If you are looking for an opportunity to share your experiences good or bad, ideas, or even simply share a virtual cup of coffee, go ahead and schedule some time.
Have you joined our Facebook Users Group yet? It is a great place to connect with other MainWP users for tips and tricks. Come hang out with the vibrant MainWP Community and up your game.
