If your Child Site is protected with HTTP basic authentication MainWP Dashboard allows you to set the user name and password in order to connect your child sites.

To do that go to: MainWP Dashboard > Sites > Add new tab > Advanced Options options box and locate HTTP username and HTTP password  fields:

  • Hello, I made some staged version of 3 sites and to keep them up to date with the live versions I added them to MainWP. But to keep the staged versions from being indexed I had to make their directory password protected. Now obviously can’t connect. Is there a fix for this?
