How to use My WP Customize Admin Plugin on your Child Site

An easy way to clean up wp-admin and remove certain parts from not showing on child sites when clients need to login can be a pain to take care of. But there is an easy to use plugin which will allow you to customize a number of things from not showing in wp-admin.

First, you will need to install and active the plugin My WP Customize Admin/Frontend.

The plugin when activated will add a new admin menu called;

To edit admin for the site go to;

My WP > Admin > General

You can set notification from showing in the updates tab in wp-admin, remove the admin footer text of Thank you for creating with WordPress as well as the WordPress version. Select the parts that you no longer want to show and save button. If you want to easily reset the settings saved for the general settings you can click on the remove general settings data button and those settings will be removed.

You can add your own custom footer text in the admin footer in the advanced settings section of the general settings.

You can also easily remove a lot of the header meta that WordPress adds from;

My WP > Frontend > General

Then in the header meta section select which meta you want to remove then hit save.
