Recently I said, on social media mind you, that there would be no year in review for me. I’m just not into it this year. There isn’t a lot to celebrate, but I really should take stock of some of my wins, which I kindly forget as I focus on the losses.
But one thing I am proud of is the eBook we did at MainWP. Have you downloaded the eBook yet? Click the link below.

So, maybe I will change my mind and run back a list of accomplishments, but for now, I will be satisfied with these fun tools.
Today I am going to share with you a few tools you can use to run a year review recap from your social media channels.
Are ya ready?
Cleve.ai
I first learned about the tool from Cleve.AI from my friend Todd Nilson. It gives you a wealth of information about you based on your activity on LinkedIn.
I downloaded the PDF and all the other images it gave me and added it to my Google Folder.
According to my “unwrapped.” I posted over 800 times this year. Hard to believe. The tool even rolled out 10 lessons I learned in 2024. Frankly, they are pretty accurate.
You can see the recap LinkedIn post here.
And you can see the full results here.
The tool can be accessed here.
CoAuthor
I will admit the CoAuthor Studios recap looks pretty nice, but as of the publishing of this article, I have been unable to get mine. They seemed to be backlogged.
The tool gives you a card with various bits of data about you based on your LinkedIn contributions. I am interested to see what it says about me.
As I was looking for various tools to do recaps, I found this one from Reddit. I believe I have used it before.
You need to use your Reddit Mobile app to make it work. That is frustrating to me as I try to limit social media apps on my phone.
But I activated my app so I could make my Reddit Recap.
You can see my recap on my Twitter account below.
You can do your own by going to the Recap subreddit.
Don’t forget, you will need to use your mobile app to make the recap. The recap is a completed community by community. The recap will tell you the communities you visited the most and give you a Reddit persona. Once you load the recap, you keep swiping up to see the various “recaps.” Keep swiping.
But you can boast, I guess, to your friends on how many bananas you scrolled. Learn more about how you can launch a recap here
Twitter Wrapped
Twitter Wrapped is a fun tool to recap your year. Certainly, my Twitter (now X) differs from my LinkedIn. I am much more casual on Twitter.
So, according to Twitter Wrapped, my 2024 Story is:
“From brand whispering to wrestling fanboying, 2024 was my year of mixing business with bodyslams! Built awesome narratives by day, marked out for pro wrestling by night.”
That seems pretty accurate for my Twitter usage.
In 2024, I hit 5K followers, shared 93K tweets, and “mastered the art of brand narrative.” I am very active on X.
I like the “Friendly Roast” section. This section was a pleasant surprise. One roast was this:
“You tweet more than you breathe – 93K tweets? Did your keyboard file for overtime?”
I go through keyboards, that’s for sure!
The results gave me praise (much needed!) for things like engagement, networking and consistency. Twitter Wrapped also claimed my Twitter Twin is Gary Vaynerchuk.
The tool even gave some predictions for me next year, including a “Love Life,” money (I’ll take it!) and a possible New Year Resolution which actually is making me think. It even warned me about drinking too much coffee.

This may be my favorite tool of all the ones I tried.
Instagram Top Nine
The Instagram Top Nine started in 2016. It’s fascinating to look back at your top 9 most liked pictures.
I have been participating for a couple of years. You can run the script on desktop or mobile and you get a cool collage to post to your IG account.

Wrapstodon
There is even a tool for Masterdon called Wrapstodon. The tool sits in the GitHub repository and seems to be something you use on your own Masterdon server. Since I do not have my own server, I decided not to try it.
You can find instructions in this article. Are you looking for more options to play with rewinds for the year? The Verge has a comprehensive list here.
I am still determined not to write a year in review article. That being said, I think I owe it to myself to find the wins and celebrate.
Using tools like the ones in this article can help spark some of those memories, hopefully the good ones.
Ready or not, 2025 is almost here. Godspeed.
