MainWP 6.2 brings better system monitoring, broader remote management capabilities, and more predictable API workflows. The updates give agencies clearer oversight of their connected sites while reducing friction during routine maintenance.

MainWP Dashboard 6.2

MainWP Dashboard 6.2 adds a new Database section to Server Information, bringing database version, size, prefix, privilege status, and table health into one view. Database size notices now include clearer spacing and context on the Operations and Client Overview pages. A new System Monitor also checks WordPress cron health through scheduled checks, fallback execution, and manual triggers, making scheduled tasks easier to monitor and troubleshoot.

Navigation and activity reviews received several practical improvements. A Command Palette trigger in the header provides quicker access to supported WordPress screens, while corrected URL sorting, the restored User column in Network Activity, consistent site URL formatting, and an adjusted Plugin Details modal help keep everyday Dashboard work cleaner.

The release also addresses Windows file input sanitization and prevents unnecessary loading overlays and related processing errors.

REST API work in this release focuses on accuracy and predictable request handling. Batch operations, API key management, and cost tracking associations have been expanded, while stronger validation provides clear responses for invalid, ambiguous, oversized, malformed, or incorrectly typed data. Searches and API requests now preserve exact client field names and values, including empty values and “0”, and cost records are cleaned up when clients or tags are deleted through the REST API.

MainWP Child 6.2

MainWP Child 6.2 expands MainWP Abilities with Version 2 operations across backups, staging, security, vulnerability scanning, SEO, branding, maintenance, WooCommerce, caching, and other integrations. File deployment, plugin and theme installation, artifact delivery, page management, comment moderation, custom post importing, and database optimization also receive safer operation handling.

Previews, status tracking, pagination, rollback, cancellation, and replay-safe processing provide more control when running supported operations across child sites. MainWP Child also adds the WordPress cron System Monitor, pCloud remote storage settings for the UpdraftPlus integration, optional signed request payloads with expiration and one-time-use validation, and improved compatibility with older WordPress and plugin versions.

Abilities API guidance clarifies request formats and updates examples across site, client, tag, update, and batch workflows to help integrations avoid rejected requests.
