Last week’s MainWP releases focus on expanding AI-powered site management, improving security, and making everyday WordPress maintenance more reliable.

MainWP Dashboard 6.3

MainWP Dashboard 6.3 introduces Knowledge, a central place for storing agency, client, and site information that connected AI tools can access based on user permissions. New guided setup pages simplify connecting Claude Code, Cursor, and VS Code through MainWP MCP. AI-assisted updates now support previews and confirmation before execution, while improvements to Team Control strengthen access restrictions across the Dashboard.

MainWP Child 6.3

MainWP Child 6.3 improves update tracking, activity logging, and compatibility with protected downloads. Both Dashboard and Child include an upgraded PHPSecLib library to address upstream security issues.

Several MainWP extensions also received updates:

WooCommerce Shortcuts 5.1 improves WooCommerce detection and shortcut reliability, introduces read-only Abilities API support, and strengthens permission checks.

Matomo Integration 5.2 and 5.2.1 add management through MainWP Abilities, scheduled processing, improved connection security, and more consistent reporting integration. The follow-up release restores support for Matomo installations in subdirectories.

UpdraftPlus Integration 5.2 strengthens stored settings and credential protection, improves remote operation handling, and prepares the extension for future Abilities API backup operations.

Clone Extension 5.1 introduces Abilities API support for managing cloning policies and improves settings validation and protection against conflicting changes.

Together, these updates continue to expand MainWP’s AI and automation capabilities while strengthening security, compatibility, and reliability across connected WordPress sites.
