True Love Conquers All on Quora
These days, it is easy to feel inundated by negative news and anger. It can be difficult to stay positive. Fortunately, there is a pleasant surprise on Quora that can help.
The section is called True Love Conquers All, and it is dedicated to user-shared stories of goodness and inspiration. These stories are sure to warm your heart, even the Grinch’s.
If you are feeling down or sad, take a moment to visit the section on Quora and read some of these stories. You will be inspired by the goodness of humanity and reminded that there is still love in the world.

This year has been the year of AI. From the news, ChatGPT, problems with AI, and the plethora of AI software platforms, it has been everywhere.
I have sat in on a webinar or two about AI as it relates to content. I am constantly learning how AI can optimize and streamline the content and copywriting process.
I’m not sure we can run from it, but we have to learn how to use it. Yes, I have thoughts on it and I like learning from professionals like Andy Crestodina.
The article here is an amazing “over the shoulder” look at how he used AI to run an audit on a service webpage. Call me impressed and astounded.
He created 8 prompts and ended up with a detailed analysis and charts to go with them.
The question he starts with is: “How can we train AI to recommend edits to our most important pages that drive measurable impact for both search rankings and conversions?”
The value we have in 2024 is going to be our thoughts, our analysis, and our abilities to create a strategy that helps our customers generate more revenue.
By the way, this is a great example of the types of stories we can tell on our own websites.
Are you using AI in your work? How are you using it to streamline productivity?

Did you know that August 13th is National Left Handers Day? I should always put that on my calendar because I am left-handed.
As we do our social media calendars, we often feel them in with different types of “holidays” to keep the conversation going.
I found this complete list of social media holidays for 2024 at Hootsuite. But, the aforementioned Left Handers Day is not on their calendar, so I found a couple more.
While you are looking over your social media calendar for 2024, maybe these resources can come in handy.

Something happened along the way and I missed it.
I have been using Koko Analytics for a while now and, perhaps, some of you have too.
Sebastian wrote an article about Koko Analytics all the way back in 2019.
Out of the box, it is a fantastic plugin without the intrusion of a third party. I always thought a pro version would be really nice.
Well, Voila!
They created a pro version of the plugin. Danny van Kooten, the plugin owner, announced the pro version in October 2023.
“Nearly 4 years after the initial release of the Koko Analytics plugin, I have the pleasure to finally announce a much requested feature: custom event tracking.”
The pro version is an upgrade to include custom event tracking.
“Personally I believe this feature to be just as important (if not more) as tracking general pageview counts, at least for certain types of websites. More pageviews is nice and all, but usually a website has other goals besides just attracting eyeballs.”
Of course, the plugin continues to live in your dashboard and I recommend it often because you can get an “at glance” view. Now, if only Danny will make a MainWP extension 🤔😏.
And that’s a wrap on another MainWP December Roundup. We dove into the WP Weekly Awards results and enjoyed some heartwarming Quora tales.
Hats off to ACF Pro, Astra, Elementor, and The Admin Bar for being among the top vote getters for the WP Weekly Awards!
Big shoutout to Andy Crestodina for demystifying AI-powered webpage audits, simplifying the evaluation of SEO and conversions.
For a stellar 2024 social media game, check out the resources we shared. And a special nod to Koko Analytics for dropping the Pro version with custom event tracking.
