This round of updates focuses on making Domain and SSL Monitoring more automatic and dependable. Both add-ons now do a better job of keeping their monitored site lists in sync as you add new sites, reducing the amount of manual housekeeping needed as your MainWP Dashboard grows.
Domain Monitor 5.3
Domain Monitor 5.3 improves how domain checks are scheduled and managed. Newly connected sites are now added to domain monitoring automatically, while monitored site lists are synchronized when checks run or settings are saved.
The add-on also avoids unnecessary WHOIS lookups when domain information has not changed and handles unknown domain extensions and WHOIS connection failures more cleanly. Additional validation around monitoring records and the database schema helps keep monitoring data consistent.
SSL Monitor 5.3
SSL Monitor 5.3 brings similar improvements to certificate monitoring. Newly connected sites are now included automatically, while duplicate monitoring records and scheduling behavior have been cleaned up.
Automatic SSL checks are also limited to HTTPS-enabled sites, helping keep monitoring focused on sites where certificate checks actually apply. Internal initialization and service handling have been improved as well for more consistent monitoring across your connected sites.
Together, these updates mean less time managing monitoring lists by hand and more predictable coverage as sites are added to your MainWP setup.
Dashboard Insights now explains how Network Activity logging controls which MainWP Dashboard and Child Site events appear in Insights.
Abandoned Plugins and Themes now covers automatic background checks, required sync settings, current manual workflows, and tolerance configuration.
Optimize Your MainWP Dashboard clarifies that optimized data loading is enabled by default and uses synchronized plugin, theme, and user data for faster searches.
Manage Plugins has been refreshed with current installation, bulk-management, update, and plugin-history workflows, plus clearer scheduling and trust settings for advanced automatic updates.
