MainWP Enhances Dashboard Performance, Stronger Site Connections, and Expanded Wordfence Control

Last week’s releases improve performance across busy MainWP Dashboards, strengthen site connections, and add more control over Wordfence and SSL monitoring.

MainWP Core

MainWP Dashboard 6.1.5

MainWP Dashboard 6.1.5 focuses on faster loading and more dependable site connections.

The Network Activity widget now limits its overview to the most recent 24 hours, reducing the data processed during routine Dashboard loading. The Updates Overview widget has also been optimized to load summary totals separately from detailed site and update information. Heavier data is retrieved only when it is needed.

Site connections now receive an additional retry when the expected information is not returned on the first attempt. This helps reduce occasional connection failures caused by incomplete responses.

Several “Required” field indicators in the setup wizard have been corrected to improve clarity and consistency.

MainWP Child 6.1.5

MainWP Child 6.1.5 improves Network Activity tracking and expands the Wordfence settings supported through MainWP.

Relationship changes are now recorded more carefully. Previous field values are collected only when the related WordPress post still exists.

Support has also been added for more Wordfence configuration options, including audit logging, scan controls, IPv4 scanning, remote IP detection, and trusted proxy settings.

Wordfence Integration 5.2

Wordfence Integration 5.2 adds more ways to manage Wordfence installations from your MainWP Dashboard.

The expanded settings include controls for audit log visibility, WAF status monitoring, IPv4 scan preferences, scan resume limits, trusted proxy presets, and remote IP lookup.

Wordfence can now be deactivated from an individual site menu or across multiple sites with bulk actions. Clearer status indicators and more consistent menu options also make it easier to see where Wordfence is installed, active, or available for activation.

SSL Monitor 5.2

SSL Monitor 5.2 rebuilds its dashboard and overview widgets for more efficient work with large site lists.

Server-side paging and search reduce the amount of certificate data loaded at once. Updated table-loading behavior also makes SSL information easier to browse across larger Dashboards.

Automatic certificate checks and alert scheduling have been refined for more consistent monitoring. When certificate details cannot be retrieved, clearer fallback information and error messages provide a better indication of what went wrong.

The release also adds nonce validation to strengthen request security for SSL Monitor actions.

Together, these updates reduce Dashboard loading work, improve connection and monitoring reliability, and give agencies more control over security settings from one central location.

Documentation Updates

SSL Monitor now includes WP-CLI workflows for checking selected or all sites and viewing saved certificate details – ideal for scripts, external cron jobs, and command-line monitoring.

The Manage Sites Table and Grid View guide now explains both layouts more clearly, including Grid mode’s visual screenshots, experimental status, reduced management options, and persistent view preference.

The Disable WP-Cron guide now offers clearer server cron setup, correct command patterns for MainWP Dashboard and Add-ons, better troubleshooting guidance, and essential scheduling instructions for Domain Monitor and SSL Monitor, including how to enroll newly added sites in automated checks.
