Have you ever wondered what your peers charge for web care services? Have you ever wondered what other services your peers offer?
Yeah.
Me too.
That’s why I decided to find out.
I created a survey to find out these answers and a few more.
And since Google is powerful, I used its form feature to create the survey. It will only take a few minutes to fill out.
In today’s article, I will talk a bit about the ins and outs of the Web Care Survey that will be used in an article at MainWP.
Remain anonymous
The way I structured the survey, you can choose to remain anonymous. The name, email, and company or business fields are completely optional.
Approximately 65% of all respondents thus far have chosen to give their names. For those who offer their email, we may send you an email when the article is published. If you are already a MainWP customer, the article will be published and distributed through our normal marketing channels.
Once the article is published, this information from the survey will be discarded.
The Questions
The survey includes ten questions and should take a few minutes to complete.
The first question is how you charge by frequency. I am interested to see if web care consultants stick to a monthly rate or allow other options such as quarterly or yearly.
Next, I ask the question everyone wants to know. How much do you charge? For this question, we are requesting your rate per month. I know many do various tiers, so you can just use an average rate per month.
Next, I am interested in your add-on services. Many web care consultants offer additional services. I use two questions to learn more about what people offer including SEO, Content Creation, PPC, etc.
The next question I ask about is software and plugin licenses. Many consultants will include them in their plans and others require the client to purchase for their own.
I then ask if you offer hosting services. Some consultants will require to host while others will have clients to use from an approved list.
In regards to hosting, for those who offer, I ask what types of hosting options are offered.
Next, I ask a few questions of interest to me. I ask if the web consultant has a consistent blog and if they offer an email newsletter. Finally, ask about the website consultant’s target market.

How do we plan to use this information?
The reason I am doing this survey is to see how consultants charge, the services they offer, and how they are using content marketing.
These results will be used in an article at MainWP in early 2022.
Additionally, the results may be used in MainWP assets. I have been in conversation with Dennis and Mustaasam. If they choose to use it in an asset, they will have access to that information.
Wrapping it up
Once the survey is completed I feel like we will have some really good information about what we see from Website Care specialists.
We need your answers! We need your help.
If you haven’t already filled out the survey, we would love you to take a few minutes to fill it out. The information is something many people will be interested in learning more about. The survey will be available for another couple of weeks. We will close it down by December 18, 2021.
You can fill the survey out at this link.
