Using the PhastPress Plugin to Improve Site Performance

After you have installed and activated the plugin it will add a new sub-menu under settings in wp-admin;

Settings > PhastPress

The PhastPress plugin settings are broken down into plugin, Images and HTML, CSS and JS.

The plugin includes image optimization using a free image optimization service API, being able to inline critical CSS, load all JS script asynchronously. You can also minify HTML, defer iframe loading by being able to lazy load them.

PhastPress will store the cached files for CSS, JS and HTML minification in the following path on the site server;

wp-content/cache/phastpress

PhastPress plugin will work with Cache Enabler, WP Super Cache and WP Fastest Cache plugins for page caching. This is since PhastPress is not a caching plugin. It also means that you do not need to use minification plugin if you are using PhastPress. When using the PhastPress plugin with WP Fastest Cache plugin then do not need to enable any of the minification options in the plugin settings for WP Fastest Cache.

The PhastPress plugin will only create two option in which plugin settings are stored in on a site;
