Three words you can use in 2019 to become a better WordPress professional
Are you ready for 2019, to make it a successful year? For some time now, digital marketer Chris Brogan has used a simple framework to help make his years more successful. Brogan uses three words to help make his new year a great year. As he says here, “I started this process back in 2006. Back then, my 3 words were “Ask. Do. Share.” I picked these very simple words and they served me very well. One of my best Continue reading the post...
Activity Log for MainWP, a New Free Extension
Back in July, with Phase 1, the WP Activity Log plugin became the first activity logger to keep track of changes made by your MainWP Dashboard on Child sites. The only issue was you still had to visit your Child site to see the logs. That changes today with the release of Phase 2, Activity Log for MainWP! The first major MainWP Extension created by an outside developer, this free Extension allows you to review all your child site activity Continue reading the post...

7 Tips for starting email marketing
My dad was a pretty good storyteller. I know, when he was alive, I would kind of snicker and roll my eyes when he would tell the same story yet again. Do you know anyone like that? Do you know someone who tells the same stories over and over? If you do, hang on to them. Make sure you sit down and listen to their stories and just enjoy. Sharing stories does many things for us as we listen. The Continue reading the post...
How to build customer loyalty with clear communication
We all want customer loyalty. It is a lot easier to upgrade an existing client than to bring on a new one. Less expensive too. Did you know that the key to customer loyalty may be communication? Communication should be simple and clear. These are two things that stand out when I looked at an article on communication by Groove. Like Buffer, Groove is known for its clear communication and transparency. Whether you use their product or not, you’ve undoubtedly Continue reading the post...
4 simple ways for gathering content from clients
There I was, working for a local WordPress agency. I was building websites and felt, at the time, like I was in heaven. I was doing something I loved. In the process, I got to learn a little about the inner workings of an agency and a team. I remember getting an assignment. The website was pretty straight forward. I got the design from the designer, and there was nothing overly complicated on the backend. I struggled with my usual front Continue reading the post...
How to go about creating a blogging schedule
I have written many articles about many startups. It is something I enjoy doing. I really do love entrepreneurial stories. One of the things you learn about startups is that they are nimble. By that I mean they run their business very flexible. In fact, there is a term for it in the startup world and it is a term used often in the developer world. That term is agile. Basically, to do anything, you have to be a little Continue reading the post...
MainWP Dashboard 3.2.2 Changes
MainWP Dashboard 3.2.2 along with the MainWP Child 3.2.5 introduces one significant change in site connection process. As of this version, MainWP plugin won’t allow users to connect child sites by using MD5 encryption. This means that OpenSSL Extension needs to be enabled on both, Dashboard and Child server(s). If the PHP OpenSSL Extension is not available on a child site server, the MainWP plugin was designed to drop back to an MD5 encryption connection for securing the communication between the dashboard and child site. After Continue reading the post...
