Last week’s MainWP updates improve monitoring accuracy, protect important settings, and reduce the work required to review regression test results. MainWP Dashboard and MainWP Child 6.1.4 focus on everyday maintenance tasks across connected sites. Regression Testing 5.2.1 improves how snapshot data is processed and keeps testing access aligned as sites are added or removed. For agencies and site care teams, this means clearer status information, fewer accidental configuration changes, and faster visual checks before updates are rolled out across client sites.
MainWP Dashboard 6.1.4
MainWP Dashboard 6.1.4 improves the information used to monitor connected sites.
Site health indicators in the monitoring table now follow the Site Health setting configured in the Dashboard. Connection and uptime monitoring checks also use more focused DNS lookups by limiting requests to relevant A, AAAA, and CNAME records.
The release adds a confirmation prompt before Installed Plugins Sync is disabled. This helps prevent an accidental settings change from affecting plugin information across all connected sites.
Site Lockdown Security for MainWP is also available through the Extensions catalog. It can now be found and installed directly from your self-hosted MainWP Dashboard.
A display issue affecting text in the Help popup has also been corrected for the default light theme.
MainWP Child 6.1.4
MainWP Child 6.1.4 adds FastPixel Cache support to the Cache Control feature.
Teams using FastPixel can now manage another routine cache task from the MainWP Dashboard instead of opening each site separately.
The release also improves how saved report limit selections are processed. This helps reporting settings remain more consistent across connected sites.
Regression Testing 5.2.1
Regression Testing 5.2.1 reduces repeated processing when loading snapshot data for Dashboard views and result checks. Snapshot information is now handled in bulk. This makes larger testing workflows more efficient when reviewing changes across multiple sites. The extension also keeps its accessible-site data better aligned when sites are added to or removed from MainWP. Dashboard rendering and notification handling have been updated as part of the same release. For teams that review visual changes before deploying updates across client sites, these improvements reduce waiting and keep the testing workflow more predictable as the managed site list changes.
The MainWP MCP Server documentation is now a comprehensive section covering setup, supported AI clients, practical prompts, permissions, security, configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Create Custom Report Templates now explains how to add reusable or site-specific content to Pro Reports without editing template files directly.
Manage Clients now clarifies CSV imports and the latest Client Card, suspension, reporting, and site-management actions.
Cache Control now supports FastPixel Cache.
Manage Pages now clarifies search limits, creation and editing workflows, and irreversible bulk deletion.
Manage Posts now provides clearer search controls, status actions, and bulk deletion guidance.
