Quickly Deactivate / Activate Plugins on your Child Sites

If you want to quickly deactivate a plugin on certain child site, go to the Child Site Dashboard and locate the Plugins widget: There you can see plugins on that child site and you have an option to Deactivate wanted plugins. After you deactivate a plugin you can easily re-activate it. In the Inactive tab you have list of inactive plugins and you have an option to Activate or Delete your plugins:    

Child Unique Security ID

The Unique Security ID adds additional protection between the Child plugin and your Main Dashboard. The Unique Security ID will need to match when being added to the Main Dashboard. This is additional security and should not be needed in most situations. If you want to activate the security code feature go to: MainWP Child > Settings page, Click “Require Unique Security ID”, Click Save Changes button. This will give you the security code you need to enter on your Dashboard site. When you attempt to add your site to your dashboard you will need to enter this security code

How to Filter your Child Sites

MainWP Dashboard enables you to filter your sites for easier managing: The Search sites field, will enable you to search for specific sites. Add Bulk Users

If you want to bulk add users go to: MainWP > Users > Add New and scroll down to Bulk Upload Section: To bulk add users you will need to properly format a csv file.  A sample csv file can be downloaded from your add users page. Create Sticky Posts

If you want to create a post and make it “sticky” on your Child Sites, MainWP Dashboard allows you to do that. Go to the MainWP > Posts > Add New page, Setting the Article Title, Body and optionally other provided options, In the Publish Metabox, locate the Visibility option, Click on the Edit link, After additional options appear, check the Stick this post to the front page checkbox, Click the OK button, Select your child sites, and click the Publish button.

Quick Spin your Article Text

To use the Single Spin button, select a word, part of a text or whole text you wrote and click the button: For example, if you enter word “computer” and click Single Spin, you will get few synonyms for your word:

Meaning of Icons in the Status Column

On MainWP > Sites > Manage tab the Status column shows you the current status of your websites: The dark green icon with a number will show you the number of available updates on your site. The red exclamation mark indicates that the site is down. The green checkmark icon indicates that your site is online. Also, your Status column can show you this icons: The red plugin icons indicates that site is disconnected from dashboard. The yellow radiation icon indicates a plugin or theme conflict.  

How to Add your Child Sites to Monitors

If you want to add your child sites to Advanced Uptime Monitor extension go to MainWP > Extensions > Advanced Uptime Monitor Extension settings page. In the Advanced Uptime Monitor options box click the Add Monitor button: And pop-up window will appear: When you click Load Child Sites check box, in dropdown menu you will get a list of your child sites: Select wanted child site, select Monitor notification, Monitor type and click the CREATE button. Your child site will be added to the Monitors list.    

Pause/Start Monitors on your Child Sites

On the Advanced Uptime Monitor Extension settings page, you have the option to Pause your Monitors for wanted sites: When your Monitor is paused the Status Monitor will become black. To Start again paused monitors just click Start icon: [box] If you want to Pause or Start multiple Monitor at once select wanted sites and use provided bulk action. [/box]
