If you are moving from using UpdraftPlus for site backups to use either Time Capsule or WPVivid then this will cover how to remove any leftover data from the plugin. Compared to more recent backup plugins UpdraftPlus can cause some performance issues.
If you were using UpdraftPlus local storage method then the folder you will need to look for would be in;
wp-content/updraft
Delete all of the files in that folder along with the folder itself. You could also delete the backup files in the UpdraftPlus backup settings if you wanted to run it that way. The UpdraftPlus will also set a number of options that will not be removed on plugin uninstall. The option names that you will need to look for using phpMyAdmin will be as follows;
updraft_azure
updraft_backblaze
updraft_cloudfiles
updraft_dreamobjects
updraft_dropbox
updraft_ftp
updraft_googlecloud
updraft_googledrive
updraft_last_lock_time_wpo_cache_preloader_creating_tasks
updraft_onedrive
updraft_openstack
updraft_s3
updraft_s3generic
updraft_semaphore_wpo_cache_preloader_creating_tasks
updraft_sftp
updraft_task_manager_dbversion
updraft_unlocked_wpo_cache_preloader_creating_tasks
updraft_updraftvault
updraft_webdav
updraftplus_tour_cancelled_on
updraftplus_version
Updraftplus-addons_siteid
Ideally, any of the backup plugins and cloud storage options you do not want to be storing backup files locally on your site’s server since over time these backups can end up taking up a lot of storage space. Take the time to test the right backup plugin and cloud remote storage option which works best for your child sites. It is also worth checking for the number of queries and memory the backup solution you pick is actually using and if it causes any issues in wp-admin on those sites.
