Keeping track of the SSL certificate expiry for multiple WordPress websites can be challenging and often requires logging in to your hosting provider to check the SSL certificate expiry.
However, with the MainWP SSL Monitor Extension, you can now scan for SSL certificate details of all connected Child Sites.
What You Can Do with SSL Monitor Extension:
- Automatically Check for SSL Certificates
- Manually Check SSL Certificate for all Child Sites
- Check Per Site SSL Certificate
- Get Email Notification
- Overwrite Global Settings for Individual Sites
And a lot more.

You can set the notification threshold, which will alert you by email when a certificate is nearing expiration for every Child Site, enabling you to stay updated and take preventive measures in advance.
With the “Automated Checks” option of the MainWP SSL Monitor Extension, you can adjust how frequently MainWP should automatically check for an SSL certificate.

The SSL Monitor Extension is helpful, but it would be better if you could fix the column sorting. For example, after clicking on the “Expires” column header, the column sorting looks like this:
103 days
105 days
11 days
13 days
21 days
34 days
etc.
And after clicking on the “Valid To” column header, the column sorting looks like this:
April 1, 2023
June 5, 2023
March 10, 2023
May 1, 2023
etc.
